As of now both Facebook & Twitter have permanently banned President Trump from their platforms for “incitement of violence” and many other platforms are banning Donald Trump (or pro-donald accounts) as well.

Not only are they going after Donald J Trump multiple platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Apple, Google, etc are also going after Conservatives in general by banning/disabling a majority of social media services that conservatives are flocking too after facing a wave of bans from other social media platforms.

My Thoughts

I do not agree with the censorship of either party and this control that Big Tech has over our 1st amendment right is overwhelming.

Facebook & Twitter have been a big factor in controlling online speech and have played a huge role in censoring anybody they don’t agree with including nudists like myself!

In 2021 I plan to delete both my Facebook and Twitter accounts simply because of all the hatred from the right & because of all the censoring Big Tech is posing on people.

My Thanksgiving Plans

Plan to spend Thanksgiving with my gf’s family on Thursday (11/28) and then that evening we will be going Black Friday shopping other than that we don’t have any major plans.

Saturday we will be having a 2nd Thanksgiving at my house as well as a birthday party for our youngest foster child.

Even better, if you follow Twitter’s rules on nudity then you likely won’t be banned anytime soon. So what are Twitter’s rules you ask? Well if you read their terms of service they basically clearly outline it for you but many folks simply don’t follow the rules.

Twitter’s Rules are listed here for those who fail to stumble through the TOS to find the link.

In the rules under the section “Content Boundaries and Use of Twitter” and down to “Graphic Content” you will see this information.

Set your account to “Sensitive”

Basically what that means is that to meet Twitter’s terms you need to do the following:

• Click your profile photo (by the tweet button up top) and click “Settings and Privacy”
• Then on the left side click “Privacy and safety”
• Scroll to bottom and check the box by “Mark media I Tweet as containing material that may be sensitive”
• You you are free to post nudity without fear of Twitter banning you.

Alternatives to Twitter!

Tired of Twitter and their sensitivity to nudity? Well there are other options!

• Ello.co – Ello allows nudity but they do ask that u mark your account as containing nudity (mostly for IOS users as Apple requirements to have Ello.co in their store).
• Flickr – Nudity is allowed here but only if you flag it appropriately.
• SnapChat – SC isn’t entirely against nudity but too much nudity and they may eventually ban you.
• Tumblr – These folks allow nudity which is surprising because it’s owned by Yahoo.

• Sharing personal stories, photos, etc.
• Sharing photos, news stories, or other random tweets.
• Following and interacting with other people in the community.

Anyways whatever your reason is for Twitter you may or may not of decided to make your twitter profile private.

There are a couple downfalls I need to point out to those who do have their account set as private.

1. If you use @ to reply to somebody who isn’t following you then they will never see your message since your profile is private.
2. You can’t DM most users unless they allow DMs from everybody.
3. Profile photos and Header photos can be seen by everybody.
4. Some 3rd party websites for stats or other features don’t work with your account properly if it is private.

Some 3rd party websites will still display your twitter and instagram photos even if you have your profile set to private. One good example is Twiends.com.

Twiends.com can still display your private Instagram and Twitter profiles on your Twiends.com profile wall if you have the Twitter and Instagram updates set to display on your wall as the screenshot below shows.

That is due to a setting in the Twiends.com website that displays that content on your Twiends.com wall even though those profiles are private.

This could be a potential security risk to those who don’t want those types of feeds public to the world.
